Role Summary:

The Digital Servicing ART Leader is responsible for driving the successful execution of digital servicing initiatives across PayPal Credit web servicing and legacy web servicing.  This leader thrives in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment to deliver innovative solutions.  This position will report to the SVP, Digital Agile Solution Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership and oversight for PPC Agile Train, in partnership with RTE and Solution Architect.

  • Directly responsible for Agile Release Train leadership duties such as setting Objectives, participating in ART ceremonies, managing the flow of work across the ART, using Scaled Agile methodology and the train’s adherence to process rigor, CTCs and standards

  • Partner with Product Management and various stakeholders to translate VOC into a best-in-class digital servicing experience.

  • Work with PO’s to ensure active JIRA/JIRA Align management so that features and story requirements meet Definition of Ready and are well defined, ahead of the PI’s and the JIRA Align Program Board is up to date with the latest backlog and feature set

  • Participate and co-lead Scaled Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning with RTE and Train Architect

  • Establish, measure and report on key Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in partnership with the Operations, Technology and Analytics teams

  • Act as the primary / secondary interface with the Legal, Regulatory and Compliance organizations to strengthen key process controls and effectively manage defects and issues at ART/program level

  • Guide, mentor, and directly manage the Product Owners on the ART

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree and 12 years of project management experience including Agile experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.

  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with demonstrated success managing multiple projects through building

  • Proven experience with direct people manager leadership direct reports in a matrixed environment

  • Experience with Scaled Agile software development framework, acting in the Product Manager or Product Owner role

  • Experience working with technical teams and/or guiding the creation and implementation of digital products and platforms

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

  • Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) enterprise leadership professional

  • Experience in the consumer financial services including credit cards and installment loans

  • Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environment

  • High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills (verbal and written) 

Work Timings: This role requires the candidate to work from Hyderabad office

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
