Role Summary/Purpose:

The Goldmind Offshore Production Team Lead (GX) is a leadership role dedicated to overseeing a highly skilled, distributed team of senior designers—and their junior reports—focused on Tier 3 and Tier 4 creative tasks. With a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, the GX Lead drives design excellence, fosters high performance, and champions best practices throughout the production pipeline. This leader is critical in building strong partnerships among creative Line of Business leaders and the Project Management team, ensuring seamless project alignment, efficient workflow, and impactful delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary guidance and mentorship to senior designers, ensuring excellence and growth across the team, including indirect oversight of junior designers.

  • Oversee successful execution of Tier 3 and Tier 4 creative projects, maintaining standards in quality, timeliness, brand consistency, and innovation.

  • Drive strong, collaborative partnerships between creative Line of Business Creative leaders and the Project Management/Account Teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, scope, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with the Production Coordinator to manage project intake, task assignment, milestone tracking, and on-time delivery.

  • Act as a senior creative advisor for the team, resolving cross-functional challenges and guiding critical design decisions.

  • Continuously assess and optimize team workflows, championing process improvements, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices.

  • Prepare and communicate regular team performance and project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Support the onboarding, training, and professional development of new and existing team members.

  • Participate in performance management, talent planning, and succession management for the offshore production team.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional design experience, with proven leadership in managing senior-level creative teams and complex projects.

  • Minimum 8 years familiarity with distributed team dynamics and project management tools (e.g.,Workfront, JIRA, Asana).

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience executing and overseeing Tier 3 and Tier 4 creative production tasks.

  • Minimum 3 years expertise with digital, UX/UI, branding, and/or print design, as well as industry tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, FigJam).

  • Outstanding ability to build, manage, and sustain partnerships with creative, business, and project management teams.

  • Exceptional skills in creative direction, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and team motivation.

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous experience leading offshore or distributed creative teams.

  • Experience in design strategy, business development, or in partnership with Line of Business leadership.

  • Advanced industry certifications in design, leadership, or project management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Grade/Level: 12

                                                            

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
