As VP of Commercial Transformation - Global Sales, you will lead the strategic evolution of how our global sales organization operates, elevate the customer experience, deepen partnerships, and build the processes and culture that enable our commercial teams to deliver the highest level of service at every stage of the client journey. You will work across all regions and business units, partnering with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to create a cohesive, consistent approach to commercial engagement, from first contact through to long-term partnership. You will report directly into the Head of Sales.

Champion a culture of exceptional customer experience across the global commercial organization
Drive cohesion across regions, teams, and functions to ensure customers receive a seamless, consistent experience regardless of where or how they engage with Dow Jones Energy
Break down silos between sales, product, editorial, and operations — creating the conditions for genuine commercial partnership across the organization
Build and standardize end-to-end commercial processes that span the full customer lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through onboarding, retention, and growth
Ensure frameworks are scalable, consistent, and improved based on performance data and customer feedback
Work with regional sales leaders and relationship directors to identify and pursue growth opportunities across the global book of business, including whitespace, cross-sell, upsell, and strategic account expansion
Translate customer insight and market knowledge into actionable commercial strategies
Coach and mentor to commercial leaders and their teams globally
Define and drive the commercial transformation agenda in partnership with the Head of Sales
Lead change initiatives that improve how the global sales organization plans, executes, and measures performance, ensuring alignment across regions
At least 18 years' experience in commercial, sales, or market-facing leadership roles within the energy, commodities, or financial information sectors
Understanding of the market landscape, the key players, and how commercial decisions are made at the highest levels
A genuine passion for customer experience and a track record of building long-term, growth-oriented client partnerships
Proven experience engaging directly with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders, both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across a complex, global, matrixed organization
A track record of leading through others, investing in people's growth, and building a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
An executive presence that allows you to influence senior stakeholders, and translate complex commercial challenges into clear strategies that drive alignment and action across a global organization

Base Pay Range: $270,000 - $320,000
