The role is responsible for:
- Overseeing the execution of multiple digital transformation initiatives within a scaled agile delivery and product operating model framework.
- Driving connectivity and consistency across the underwriting value chain product managers.
- Aligning team expertise to refine and adopt best practices that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Promote the development of product management discipline and outcome-based delivery.
- Guide the team toward long-term goals, ensuring efficiency, quality, and delivery.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to operationalize and scale best practices.
- Champion digital capabilities and value-based outcomes across business units and executive stakeholders.
This role collaborates closely with:
- The Business Unit Strategic Operations Manager team supporting domains like Property, Casualty, Financial & Professional Lines, Programs.
- Cross-functional partners including IT, Strategic Analytics, Strategic Portfolio Management, Process Engineering, Central Operations, Corporate Underwriting, Data, and other enterprise functions to ensure alignment, dependency management, and effective ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation efforts across the underwriting value chain.
- Serve as a strategic partner and thought leader for the Product Management team.
- Establish and run efficient practices using Agile and Product Operating Model frameworks.
- Present progress and strategic plans to senior leadership.
- Oversee multiple workstreams in a multi-year enterprise transformation program.
- Champion digital capabilities and value-based outcomes across business units and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to scale and operationalize best practices.
- Establish communication standards and reporting mechanisms across domains.

Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, MBA degree preferred.
- Min 5-10+ years in a leadership position
- 5-10+ years of experience leading prior transformation projects.
- 5-10+ years prior experience leading Product Owners or Product Management functions that triangulates between business partners, operations and Technology
- Minimum 10 years prior experience in Insurance Operations, Underwriting, Business Planning, IT, or other relevant role(s)

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$180,200 - $240,000/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
