The Boston Conservatory Vocal/Choral Intensive is a two-week summer program for pre-college singers that serves as a recruitment tool for our undergraduate voice programs. Instruction in this program is primarily served by current Conservatory faculty, with support from graduate students for teaching small sections of music theory/sight-singing, individual voice coachings, as well as serving in the choir.

Theory and/or Sight-Singing Instructors will collaborate with VCI faculty and Program Director to plan curriculum for and teach two one-hour daily classes in either Theory or Sight-Singing for the program. Instructors will also attend two staff meetings and all opening events, assist with the placement of students in classes appropriate for their current level of study, and attend the Grand Finale performance and reception. Classes will be held 4 days a week, and will not include the July 4th Holiday.
