The Role

You are a core part of WPP Content Studio, working side by side with Content Creators, Content Writers, Static Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, and Producers to bring ideas to life end-to-end.

You are a visual storyteller first. You think in frames, sequences, movement, light, rhythm, and moments. You don’t just execute briefs. You help shape them.

You are equally comfortable shooting a still image, directing a short-form video, capturing raw social-native footage, or crafting visual ideas that travel seamlessly across Instagram, TikTok, X, LINE, and YouTube.

You understand how people consume visual content today. Fast. Vertical. Sound-on or sound-off. Authentic over polished when needed. Crafted when it counts.

You are also AI-literate, using AI tools to explore visual styles, storyboard faster, prototype shots, enhance workflows, test formats, and push creative possibilities.

In short, you are a creator who happens to shoot, and a shooter who thinks like a creator.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Content Creators, Content Writers, Designers, and Motion teams to translate ideas into strong visual executions across static and video formats.

Collaborate closely with Creative, Business, and Strategy leads to shape ideas from brief to final output.

Own the visual creation process across photography and videography for social-first content, from concept to execution.

Plan, shoot, and deliver static and video content optimized for each platform, including Instagram, TikTok, X, LINE, and YouTube.

Contribute visual ideas that strengthen the overall content narrative and spark conversation, not just fill formats.

Prep and run small to mid-scale shoots, including setup, lighting, framing, direction, and capture, working closely with Producers when needed.

Work fluidly with Motion Graphics Designers and Editors to ensure visual continuity, pacing, and storytelling across assets.

Translate brand platforms and campaigns into social-native visual executions that feel relevant, human, and culturally in tune.

Adapt visual styles and execution approaches depending on the brief, whether fast-turn always-on content or more crafted campaign moments.

Use performance data, platform learnings, and cultural signals to evolve visual approaches and improve output over time.

Leverage AI tools across visual exploration, storyboarding, shot planning, image and video enhancement, rapid prototyping, and post-production support.

Adopt WPP AI systems, including WPP Open, to generate visual options, accelerate workflows, and streamline delivery.

Actively test new tools, formats, and visual trends, sharing learnings with the wider studio to elevate overall craft.
