Role Overview

As a Copywriter on the BEAT team, you will play a critical role in maximizing brand experience and user engagement across all digital touchpoints through compelling, effective copy. With a deep understanding of brand strategy and business goals, you will plan and craft clear, persuasive messaging for UI/UX, CRM, eDM, web content, and more. Working closely with producers, UI/UX planners, analysts, and other creative team members, you will help deliver a consistent end-to-end experience throughout the user journey—contributing to higher conversion and stronger brand value.

Key Responsibilities

Copywriting & Message Design
  • Plan and produce copy for various digital touchpoints including websites, eCommerce sites, paid media ads, and CRM communications.

  • Design message frameworks, tone of voice, and message hierarchy based on user journeys and customer lifecycle stages.

UX & Content Strategy Collaboration
  • Partner with UI/UX planners to create microcopy, UI text, and CTAs that reflect user behavior and navigation flows.

  • Provide language that improves readability, comprehension, and action-taking, with an understanding of content flows and screen layouts.

Brand Consistency & Quality Control
  • Create copy aligned with global and local brand guidelines, optimized for each platform and objective.

  • Ensure quality and consistency through proofreading, tone adjustment, and fact-checking.

Client Requirements & Insight Understanding
  • Analyze briefs, data, and insights to craft copy tied to business challenges and KPIs.

  • Clearly explain copy intent and proposals to clients.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Copywriting Experience
  • Hands-on experience writing for digital channels such as websites, eCommerce, paid media advertising, and CRM.
  • Proven ability to write with user behavior and conversion in mind.
UX & Digital Literacy
  • Understanding of content flows and user journeys.
  • Experience writing UI-integrated copy such as microcopy, CTAs, and navigation labels.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with creative members (including art directors and designers) and proactively contribute to improving overall output quality—not limited to copy alone.
  • A collaborative mindset to stay involved throughout planning, design, and optimization processes, rather than “handing off” copy and finishing.
AI-Assisted Copywriting Skills
  • Ability to use generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT and other LLM tools) for ideation, tone adjustment, variation generation, and optimization.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and edit AI-generated copy into high-quality work that meets brand tone, legal considerations, and UX requirements.
  • Strong prompt-design and instruction skills to generate outputs aligned with objectives.
Strategic Thinking
  • Ability to understand brand strategy and business goals and translate them into structured, persuasive language.
  • Ability to design effective messaging based on data and insights.
Language Skills
  • Excellent Japanese copywriting skills.
  • Reading and writing proficiency in English, with the ability to participate in global projects (business level preferred).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience in CRM initiatives and personalized content.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (e.g., A/B testing, copy iteration and improvement).
  • Copywriting experience in regulated industries (medical, healthcare, alcohol, etc.) and/or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities:

コピーライティング&メッセージ設計
  • Webサイト、ECサイト、PaidMedia広告、CRMなどの各種デジタルタッチポイント向けコピーを企画・制作。
  • ユーザージャーニーや顧客ステージに基づき、メッセージフレーム、トーン&マナー、メッセージ階層を設計。
UX・コンテンツ戦略との連携
  • UI/UXプランナーと協働し、ユーザー行動やナビゲーションフローを考慮したマイクロコピー、UIテキスト、CTAを作成。
  • コンテンツフローや画面構成を理解した上で、可読性・理解度・行動喚起を高める言語表現を提供。
ブランド一貫性と品質管理
  • ブランドガイドライン(グローバル・ローカル)に準拠しつつ、各プラットフォームや目的に最適化されたコピーを制作。
  • 校正、トーン調整、ファクトチェックなどを通じて、アウトプットの品質と一貫性を担保。
クライアント要件・インサイト理解
  • ブリーフ、データ、インサイトを分析し、ビジネス課題やKPIに紐づくコピーを制作。
  • コピーの意図や提案内容をクライアントに説明。

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

コピーライティング経験
  • Webサイト、ECサイト、PaidMedia広告、CRMなどのデジタルチャネルでのコピー制作実務経験。
  • ユーザー行動やコンバージョンを意識したコピー制作経験。
UX・デジタル理解
  • コンテンツフロー、ユーザージャーニーに関する理解。
  • マイクロコピー、CTA、ナビゲーションテキストなど、UIに組み込まれるコピー制作経験。
  • アートディレクター、デザイナーをはじめとするクリエイティブメンバーと密に連携し、積極的なコミュニケーションを通じて、コピー制作に留まらず、アウトプット全体の品質向上に主体的に関われる方。
  • コピーを提出して完結するのではなく、企画・設計・改善プロセスに継続的に関与できる協働姿勢を持つ方。
AIを活用したコピーライティングスキル
  • 生成AI(例:ChatGPT、その他LLMツール)を活用し、コピー案の発想、トーン調整、バリエーション生成、最適化を行える能力。
  • AI生成コピーを批判的に評価・編集し、ブランドトーン、法的考慮事項、UX要件を満たす質の高いコピーに仕上げる能力。
  • プロンプト設計や明確な指示出しにより、目的に沿ったコピー成果を生み出せる思考力。
戦略的思考力
  • ブランド戦略やビジネス目標を理解し、それを構造化された説得力のある言語表現に落とし込む能力。
  • データやインサイトに基づき、ターゲットに効果的に働きかけるコピーを設計。
語学力
  • 日本語での高いコピーライティングスキル。
  • 英語の読み書きが可能で、グローバル案件への参加が可能な方(ビジネスレベルが望ましい)。
