ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Visual Merchandising Intern, you will partner with Visual Merchandising and Merchandising teams to create engaging displays that drive sales. You will support new store openings, seasonal campaigns, and footwear styling while gaining hands-on experience in retail design and brand execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Visual Display & Merchandising Partnership:
- Partner with merchants to create compelling visual displays that showcase product stories and drive sales
- Execute product merchandising strategies for new collections and promotional events
- Collaborate on footwear styling, seasonal storytelling, and complete look presentations
New Store Opening Support:
- Assist with end-to-end new store opening processes from planning through grand opening
- Support planogram preparation and graphic rollouts for new stores and remodels
- Participate in pre-opening store setup and team training on visual standards
- Monitor project timelines and ensure all opening deadlines are met
Operations & Quality Assurance:
- Create and maintain prepackaged visual and marketing tool kits
- Review new store opening photos and reports to ensure brand standards
- Support administrative tasks using Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
Mock Store Organization:
- Organize and maintain in-house Corporate Outlet/Big Box Mock Store
- Review current Visual POP & Marketing Guides to update mock store to standard
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with merchants and cross-functional teams
- Creative and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Passion for footwear, fashion trends, and retail customer experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Design, or Marketing
- Portfolio showcasing visual/design work and footwear styling abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visual aesthetics, color theory, and spatial design skills
The pay range for this role is $25/hr.
