What You’ll Do

Authentic Brands Group is seeking a skilled and creative Visual Merchandiser with intermediate graphic design skills to join our London office. The Visual Merchandiser will play a vital role in supporting the design, management and upkeep of our London showrooms; working on sample management, showroom set up, and product presentation. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help deliver impactful showroom designs that support Authentic’s events, open houses and partner presentations. You will utilise your graphic design capabilities to create compelling visual assets, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all visual merchandising initiatives align with brand guidelines, budgets and evolving industry trends.

What you’ll be working on

  • Manage all sample needs for the London showrooms, ensuring timely arrangements, set up and return.
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure the upkeep of the London office and showrooms, including occasional office redesign as needed.
  • Manage the design of the London showrooms, including conceptualisation in partnership with the Business Development and Brand Management teams, as well as showroom set up, maintenance and de-rig.
  • Partner with our internal teams, as well as external creative agencies, to produce the Authentic Showcase and Open House events, as well as Press Days and large-scale events in which showroom displays will be a vital part to the success of the event.
  • Utilise graphic design skills to create visually appealing signage, banners, point-of-sale materials, and promotional collateral for various retail environments.
  • Curate and present products in a visually appealing and organised manner to enhance the impact of our showrooms during prospective meetings and partner presentations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for innovative visual merchandising concepts.
  • Effectively manage multiple visual merchandising projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines that cater to different store formats and retail partners.
  • Assist in managing the visual merchandising budget, tracking expenses, and optimising resource allocation.
  • Manage and maintain Monday.com workflows for store operations and the NAM Visual Merchandising team.
  • Provide guidance to external partners on visual merchandising matters as needed.

Must Haves

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising or retail coordination, with intermediate graphic design skills.
  • Proven experience in managing samples.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate brand identity and storytelling into compelling visual displays.
  • Excellent understanding of current design and visual merchandising trends.
  • Project management and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach, constantly one step ahead and planning showroom designs ahead of upcoming seasons.
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and spatial awareness.
  • Flexibility to travel for store visits and installations as required.
  • Passion for fashion, lifestyle, and consumer brands.
