The Growth Enablement Team (GET) consists of sales intake, sales operations, sales enablement, Salesforce, sales asset management, and RFP/proposal development that supports Huron’s sales activities across the company. The GET partners with the business units and sellers to support prospecting activities, collateral and proposal creation for active sales pursuits (i.e., RFP responses, proposals, oral presentation project management support), content development, maintenance of Salesforce and Huron's sales asset management platform, and other strategic sales initiatives.

Part of the GET, the Visual Design Center of Excellence (CoE) brings complex ideas and data to life through clear, compelling visual storytelling, enhancing the quality and impact of client-facing sales deliverables and consulting engagements. Staffed by experienced graphic designers with deep expertise in visual communication, brand standards, and storytelling, the team partners closely with sales and consulting stakeholders to support high stakes pursuits and scalable sales assets.
The Visual Design Associate Manager is a hands-on people leader within Huron’s India-based Visual Design CoE. This role oversees a team of Visual Design Associates supporting orals presentations for priority sales pursuits, broader sales asset design, as well as key presentations supporting project delivery for active client engagements. The Associate Manager ensures consistent quality, operational excellence, and strong client service while coaching and developing team members and supporting the Manager in day-to-day execution and delivery.

The Visual Design Associate Manager serves as a working leader responsible for both people management and delivery excellence. This role reports to the Visual Design Manager. Individuals in this role can perform the following activities:

Team & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and oversee a team of Visual Design Delivery Analysts, Senior Analysts and Associates, ensuring high-quality, on-brand execution across Orals decks and general assets for sales project delivery.
  • Allocate work, set priorities, and manage capacity across multiple concurrent sales pursuits and asset requests, escalating risks and constraints as needed.
  • Review and approve deliverables for quality, accuracy, storytelling effectiveness, and adherence to Huron brand standards prior to client-facing use.
  • Cultivate a high-functioning team culture grounded in accountability, effective collaboration, and individual growth and development.

Sales Pursuit & Asset Support

  • Oversee and prioritize the visual design team’s support for active sales pursuits, with a primary focus on Orals presentations and associated visual materials that help advance live opportunities.
  • Supervise the Orals Specialist, an Associate-level resource who is focused entirely on the design and execution of slide decks and visualizations for competitive sales pursuits.
  • Ensure the design team partners seamlessly with Sales Enablement Senior Associates, GET members,  and project and pursuit teams, translating finalized content, messaging, and pursuit direction into clear, compelling, and executive-ready visual narratives.
  • Guide and review the design execution of Orals decks, placemats, and related sales presentations—focusing on layout, visual hierarchy, storytelling flow, data visualization, and brand alignment, rather than content creation.
  • Ensure consistent and effective use of approved templates, visual standards, and existing sales collateral, while identifying when custom visual solutions are required to support a specific buyer audience or pursuit strategy.
  • Supervise and balance the team’s work across active pursuit support and general asset design, including reusable presentation materials, modular slides, and scalable visual assets that enable sellers, project teams and Sales Enablement teams to operate efficiently.
  • Serve as a quality and scope gatekeeper—ensuring the design team’s focus remains on visual design execution, while content ownership, pursuit strategy, and sales advisory activities remain with Sales Enablement and sales stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on design leadership for complex, high-visibility, or time-sensitive Orals and sales presentations, modeling best practices in executive-level presentation design and visual storytelling.
  • Serve as a creative thought partner and design advisor — shaping the vision and quality of deliverables while empowering the team to execute — and champion the adoption of innovative tools and technologies that elevate visual storytelling and audience engagement.

Coaching, Development & Performance Management

  • Coach, mentor, and develop Visual Design team members through regular feedback, performance discussions, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Support skill development across visual storytelling, presentation design, stakeholder communication, and time management
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture that reflects Huron’s values and commitment to excellence.

Planning, Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist the Visual Design Manager with day-to-day operational planning, workflow optimization, and documentation of standards and best practices.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders regarding timelines, expectations, and delivery status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, and team effectiveness, and recommend solutions to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in visual design, sales presentation design, or creative services, including experience guiding or mentoring others.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office, with demonstrated experience creating executive-level sales presentations.
  • Solid understanding of brand standards, layout, visual hierarchy, and data visualization
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds that include managing or mentoring a team of designers or other creative professionals
