Join our team as a Visitor Control Specialist at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), supporting critical security operations for system and integration testing activities. In this role, you will manage visitor access, issue and maintain accountability of all badges, and perform administrative functions within the Security Office. Your work ensures compliance with Army regulations and industrial security requirements while directly supporting the protection of personnel, visitors, facilities, and assets.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide Visitor Control Center customer service to all personnel and visitors.
  • Create, issue, turn in, and destroy agency/organization-specific badges in accordance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Issue badges to personnel and visitors as required.
  • Maintain 100% accountability and inventory control of all badges.
  • Process, track, and receive inbound temporary and permanent visitor requests, as well as any other internal agency processes.
  • Assign and program agency/organization-specific badges in the system of record according to organizational guidelines and policies.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Badging and Ccure systems.
  • Escort uncleared personnel and visitors needing access to facility offices during business hours, as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the Security Office, including recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Maintain 100% coverage of the Visitor Control Center at MCVC.
  • Support operations on a 9/80 work schedule (7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with alternating Fridays off).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working independently while managing multiple priorities in a structured environment.
  • Experience with (Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Exoerience enforcing security procedures and interacting with personnel, visitors, and leadership.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in industrial security is highly desirable.
  • Experience in administrative skills, recordkeeping and data entry.
  • Experience in visitor control, badging, or access control operations.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The hourly rate for this role is $19.00 to $34.00.  The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.
