Diligent corporation

Account Director

London, England, United Kingdom Full Time

Position Overview

As we accelerate our presence across EMEA's specialist fund services and corporate services markets, we're looking for a driven, commercially sharp sales professional who knows this world from the inside.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth division targeting corporate service providers, fund administrators, management companies, law firms, and private equity and venture capital firms across key offshore and onshore jurisdictions including Luxembourg, the Channel Islands, Cayman Islands, UK and Ireland. You'll work a defined, high-value territory with a clear mandate to grow net new revenue and expand within an existing base of established Diligent relationships.

If you have deep roots in fund services or corporate services and understand the governance, compliance, and regulatory pressures driving decision-making at these firms daily - this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • You'll own the full commercial cycle across your patch - from prospecting and pipeline generation through to close and upsell - working both new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • You'll leverage your existing network to open doors quickly, run complex multi-stakeholder deals independently, and work closely with Diligent's broader field sales team to shape our continued growth in this segment.
  • You bring deep expertise in the fund services or corporate services ecosystem - the firms, the regulatory environment, and the operational pressures that drive buying decisions at the senior level.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 7+ years of extensive experience working as a Sales/ Account Manager/Account Executive or Channel Manager selling SaaS products
  • Deep expertise in the fund services or corporate services ecosystem - the firms, the regulatory environment, and the operational pressures that drive buying decisions at the senior level.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills through verbal, written, and live presentations.
  • Strong sales acumen and track record of attaining quota – you know how to navigate tough conversations and turn it into a win-win for all.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • You understand what it means to operate in a governed, compliance-driven business and you can speak to those challenges with credibility and authority.
  • Direct experience selling into leading fund administrators, corporate service providers, third-party ManCos, fiduciary services firms, or law firms operating across EMEA's key offshore and onshore jurisdictions.
  • Ability to speak French is a plus
