The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), NTU, invites applications for a Visiting Professor position in Computational Statistics, Statistical Signal Processing, Bayesian Inference, or Machine Learning. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a closely related area.
The Visiting Professor will collaborate with MAS faculty in areas spanning Monte Carlo methods, Bayesian computation, state-space modeling, probabilistic machine learning, and high-dimensional inference, and is expected to contribute to joint research projects, manuscript preparation, and the development of interdisciplinary collaborations with colleagues across NTU.
Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in their field and a strong record of excellence in research, including success in obtaining competitive external funding and a sustained publication record in top-tier journals and
conferences.
