As the Virus Clearance Lab Associate, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, reporting and analyzing data, and ensuring appropriate regulatory compliance with the lab work in relation to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) that have been assigned. The position holder will be responsible for ensuring appropriate stock control for lab work.

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities

  • Entry level analysts will be responsible for performing a range of activities including but not limited to the following: equipment calibration, reagent and media preparation, cell culture, general lab housekeeping, assist in implementation and use of an Environmental Monitoring System, stock control, as well as the execution of laboratory work.
  • In the performance of lab work, you will demonstrate ability in a range of different assay techniques performing different methods to a high standard.
  • You will take responsibility for the smooth running of lab work, aiding Scientists/Study Directors by ensuring that all materials, reagents and cells are ordered and available for the performance of lab work in a timely manner.
  • You will require adherence to the appropriate regulatory compliance required by the lab work on which they are working demonstrating appropriate knowledge of regulatory and GLP requirements.

What Will Convince Us

  • Associated degree in a relevant scientific discipline or comparable experience
  • Ability to comprehend and draw conclusions from scientific and numerical data
  • Demonstrated practical skills relevant to the department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with GLP guidelines including ICH Q5A and 21 CFR Part 58 are advantageous
  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
