VIP Operations Senior Associate

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our growing VIP - Tech & Tools team. The Senior Associate will work in partnership with teams across all functional areas within the business to collate the requirements, timelines & plans to manage & support the launch of VIP initiatives. Effective communication skills combined with skilled stakeholder management are key to this role as the individual will be working with a wide variety of stakeholders from across all areas of the business including Engineering, Customer Operations, IT Operations, Marketing, Legal, Compliance & Product. This is a great role to learn about the FanDuel business and to utilize your unique skills to assimilate the knowledge to build strategies, manage & support the VIP Operations team for launching new products, tools, and processes. The role will report to the VIP Operations Manager, Tech & Tools.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Engage and assist the Tech & Tool leadership with various projects, ensuring daily task management.  
  • Monitors and resolves issues that arise in key Tech & Tools slack channels 
  • Participates in and tracks various metrics in tech & tool testing (pre-launch, POC concepts, etc) 
  • Assist with creating reporting to track releases 
  • Work closely with various teams to clarify objectives and requirements. 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships to support major program launches. 
  • Facilitate cross-team interactions during discovery and launch preparation. 
  • Optimize project resources 
  • Develop detailed plans to support the delivery of key projects. 
  • Serves as the first point of call for customers and stakeholders' inquiries within the launch readiness area. 
  • Ensures the projects and tasks related to the launch readiness meet required timelines. 
  • Proactively manage project activities to remove barriers and ensure timely delivery of business benefits.  

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience with projects in technology and operation improvements with a proven track record in delivering diverse projects. 
  • Create detailed project plans with dependencies, resource allocations, timelines, and contingency plans. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, outline expectations, and ensure alignment. 
  • Skilled in influencing peers/managers and building consensus in ambiguous situations.  
  • Ability to manage projects & issues across multiple locations and time zones  
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with focus on interdependencies 
  • Demonstrable project delivery experience with a similar business environment (tech, CRMs, ecommerce, consultancy, mobile, telecoms etc.)  
  • Capable of motivating teams and creating effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent presentation skills  
  • Proficiency in Excel/Word/Visio  
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence) is a plus 
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $79,000 - $99,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
