The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Daily work in a transnational project team involving Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, France and India
Interaction with stakeholders in various Airbus departments, such as procurement, finance and subcontracting management, as well as certain Airbus suppliers
You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to a project with a timeframe of 1-2 years, while being fully integrated into the Technical Data Airframe team in Germany
Your main task will include Project Management Support for a project to secure process robustness on an important technical data product.
Support the Project Leader and Work Package Leaders with:
Preparing milestone meetings for management decisions
Maintaining Project Management tools that are part of the Airbus Business Improvement methodology, such as Stakeholder Management, Risk and Opportunity Management
Setting up and implementing action plans
Determining 'To Be' solutions
You successfully completed a university degree in a business or technical field (e.g. Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Project Management)
You gained first experience in using project management tools. Familiarity with the Google environment (sheets, docs, slides, drive) is an advantage
Ideally, you already have experience in describing tasks and processes as well as communicating your ideas
You love being well structured and can do this in independently
You’re an open-minded teamplayer with a proactive personality that helps you to drive change, solve problems and convince others
You are able to easily negotiate in English, a basic level in German is an advantage
