  • Develop and maintain technical client relationships during bidding and project phases, serving as the key technical interface and conducting workshops, negotiations, and regular stakeholder engagement.

  • Apply process modelling tools and engineering calculations to design innovative, cost-effective solutions, validate processes, troubleshoot operational challenges, and create compelling business cases that demonstrate project value.

  • Communicate technical design concepts effectively to diverse audiences through high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations delivered confidently across all organisational levels, from technical reviews to executive client meetings.

  • Integrate sustainability principles into all process designs by optimising energy efficiency, chemical usage, and resource recovery, while quantifying environmental benefits aligned with Veolia's Depollution, Decarbonising, and Water Stewardship objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in a relevant engineering or technical subject (e.g., Chemical Engineering or similar disciplines) and preferably chartered.

  • Proven experience in process design and project delivery of water and wastewater treatment plants across all project stages, from conceptual design through Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) to detailed engineering, with strong knowledge of operational process control and optimisation.

  • Demonstrable experience working with UK water companies and developing technical solutions for commercial bids.

  • Expertise in applying value engineering and design optimisation principles to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions.
