Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)

  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

  • Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

A VIE for a Financial Analyst has arisen within Satair in Copenhagen (Denmark). You will join the Consolidation, Reporting & Finance Transformation department.

The contract duration of VIE is 24 months.

This position offers an exciting range of tasks within the consolidation and financial reporting of our Satair Group financials and allows you to create a real impact on the Satair Finance Transformation. You will work in a global aviation environment with flat structures and international colleagues.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

  • Collect financial data from different sources and entities and consolidate them into unified financial reports.

  • Create impactful financial reports for Revenue, Gross Profit, Cost, and Profit during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

  • Support senior consolidation accountants in closing tasks and perform eliminations of intercompany transactions.

  • Monitor the status and deliverables of various Finance transformation projects in close collaboration with the Finance Project Manager.

  • Support technical discussions for the development of new financial tools and create strategic presentations for Steering Meetings.

  • Ensure circularity between financial KPIs and provide necessary documentation and explanations to financial auditors.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Experience in Accounting, Consolidation, Controlling or similar (apprenticeships and internships included).

  • Familiarity with accounting/consolidation processes and standards (e.g., IFRS).

  • IT tools: Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Analytical skills with a detail-oriented and structured way of working.

  • Good and transparent communication abilities with the ability to coordinate different stakeholders.

  • Independent and responsible way of working with a "can-do" spirit.

  • Language Skills: negotiation level of English.
