  • Generate original, platform-native ideas that align with Capital’s tone, audience and talent.

  • Conceptualise repeatable formats and series that drive engagement and growth.

  • Lead and contribute to creative brainstorms, developing ideas from initial hook through to execution.

  • Identify cultural moments and trends that inform strong video concepts.

Scripting & Story Craft (30%)

  • Write and shape scripts, interview structures and running orders for video content.

  • Develop compelling hooks, cold opens and narrative arcs that maximise retention.

  • Work closely with presenters and production teams to refine tone and delivery.

  • Plan standout moments at the scripting stage to support strong visual output.

Production Collaboration & Delivery (20%)

  • Work on projects from pre-production through to delivery, ensuring ideas are executed effectively.

  • Collaborate with video editors, motion designers and digital teams to maintain brand consistency and quality.

  • Contribute to thumbnail, title and packaging discussions to strengthen performance.

  • Use audience insights and performance data to refine formats and inform future output.

Shooting & Editing (Beneficial): (10%)

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of video production principles, including framing, lighting and pacing.

  • Be confident stepping in to shoot or edit when required.

  • Support production teams with practical video knowledge to ensure smooth delivery.
