We don’t just talk, we do. Lead the change with us.
At the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, we work with political leaders around the world to drive change. We help governments turn bold ideas into reality so they can deliver for their people. We do it by advising on strategy, policy and delivery, unlocking the power of technology across all three. And by sharing what we learn on the ground, so everyone can benefit. We do it to build more open, inclusive and prosperous countries for people everywhere.
We are a global team of over 800 changemakers, operating in more than 40 countries, across five continents. We are political strategists, policy experts, delivery practitioners, technology specialists and more. We speak more than 45 languages. We are working on over 100 projects, tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges. We’re all here at TBI to make a difference.
In a world of ever more complex challenges, we believe diversity of background and perspective is a strength. We pride ourselves on a culture that values and nurtures difference. We are dedicated to unlocking potential, not only for the countries we work in but also for each of our team members. No matter where you’re from or who you are, if you’re passionate about the transformative power of progressive politics, we invite you to build a better future with us.

Sitting within the Creative Studio and working closely with our Social Media team, this role is based in Central London and forms part of the wider Global Strategic Communications team.
As a Video Content Creator, you will shoot, edit, and produce compelling, purpose-driven content tailored to different platforms, with a strong understanding of editorial and organisational storytelling that effectively communicates the Institute’s work globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content for social media, web, and other channels. This covers a variety of content types including interviews, pieces to camera, engaging b-roll, and promotional videos for campaigns and events.

- Set up and test livestream links for TBI events and external partners, ensuring smooth execution.
- Liaise with external production teams, providing clear briefs to ensure we receive video files in the correct formats and specifications.
- Direct talent with confidence and clarity, ensuring our subjects – from senior leaders to partners and TBI colleagues – deliver strong on-camera performances.
- Develop social-first video concepts with the Social and Design, ensuring a consistent content stream that aligns with our social and wider business strategy.
- Lead video projects end-to-end, working alongside our Project Management team from pre-production to post-production, managing filming, editing, colour correction, sound design, final output and archiving.
- Respond flexibly to last-minute filming requests from senior leaders and priority teams. This may require coming into the office at short notice to capture time-sensitive content.
- Optimise content for different platforms, including short form vertical formats and long-form YouTube content.
- Ensure accessibility best practices (subtitles, captions, audio descriptions) across all video content.
- Understand and apply TBI’s brand guidelines and quality standards across internal and external video content.
- Stay ahead of trends and AI advancements in video production, editing, and creative development, using tools like RunwayML, Descript, and Adobe Sensei to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor video performance metrics alongside Digital and Social teams, iterating based on insight to increase engagement, reach, and growth.

- Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube) and their video formats, trends, and performance strategies
- Ability to work independently and manage fast-turnaround projects, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and cross-teams collaboration skills, making subjects feel comfortable on camera and deliver a confident performance
