What you’ll be doing
Simplii Financial is transforming how millions of Canadians manage their money. The Design team is central to the Simplii organization. We turn complexity into clarity – working cross functionally – to build features and experiences that solve real human problems. As a Product Designer at Simplii Financial, you will be instrumental in crafting best-in-class, customer-facing digital experiences. You will take ownership of the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate research and insights into intuitive, high-quality solutions that address real financial challenges for Canadians. Your work will help set the standard for usability, accessibility, and innovation, ensuring every interaction with our products delivers exceptional value to our customers.
At Simplii Financial we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you’ll succeed
Design – Create end-to-end, best-in-class experiences by delivering high-fidelity UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and other design outputs.
Research & validation – Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure solutions are grounded in real user needs and continuously improved.
Collaboration – Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support and deliver on project objectives.
Stakeholder management – Present and clearly communicate your deliverables and findings to peers, senior leaders, and partners to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Project management – Deliver and document your work to achieve project goals, adhering to scope, time, and budget constraints.
Data-driven – Leverage analytics, experimentation, and insights to inform and validate your design choices.
Ownership – Approach work with a proactive, results-driven mindset, taking accountability for outcomes and seeking continuous improvement.
Customer centric – Stay committed to putting customers first, always striving to deliver exceptional experiences that address their financial needs.
Who you are
You can demonstrate hands on experience of 4–6 years delivering UX/UI projects for software applications, influencing key decisions, setting project goals, and creating high-quality design artefacts.
You can demonstrate advanced skills in Figma. You actively seek innovative solutions, embrace new technologies, and adapt quickly to evolving tools and trends.
You have a degree/diploma in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful way.
