Job Summary:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of market data platforms that deliver high-performance, low-latency data services to global markets. Drive innovation and ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership
- Define and execute strategies for market data system architecture and performance optimization.
- Oversee development of real-time data distribution solutions to support trading and analytics.
- Champion initiatives to enhance system resiliency, scalability, and latency management.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with global engineering and business teams to align technology solutions with market needs.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure data services meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies, documentation standards, and internal controls.
- Support audits and compliance with technology and data governance policies.
- Team Leadership
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Motivate and develop talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in large-scale, real-time data systems development.
- Proven leadership experience in technology delivery and team management.
- Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of market data protocols (e.g., FIX, FAST, proprietary feeds).
- Proficiency in Java or C++ and Python; understanding of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux network stack, messaging platforms, and low-latency optimization techniques.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and automation strategies.
- Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
- Ability to collaborate across global teams and influence stakeholders.
