The Vice President, Practice Head, Auto (Sales /Account Management) is responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined industry vertical by combining deep domain expertise with strategic account leadership.
This role focuses on expanding and optimizing existing client relationships, while enabling new business through industry insight and solution development. It operates at the intersection of revenue growth, client strategy, and operational execution.
The Practice Lead partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, unlock organic growth, and build differentiated solutions that deliver measurable client and business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

The Vice President, Practice Head, Auto (Sales /Account Management) is responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined industry vertical by combining deep domain expertise with strategic account leadership. This role focuses on expanding and optimizing existing client relationships, while enabling new business through industry insight and solution development. It operates at the intersection of revenue growth, client strategy, and operational execution.

The Practice Head partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, unlock organic growth, and build differentiated solutions that deliver measurable client and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Growth

  • Own and develop strategic account plans across a portfolio of key clients

  • Drive organic revenue growth (target: ~20–25% annually)

  • Identify and execute on upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities

  • Map client organizations and uncover new areas of value creation

  • Build long-term, executive-level client relationships

Industry Expertise & Solutioning

  • Act as the SME for the vertical (Auto)

  • Translate industry knowledge into commercial opportunities and scalable solutions

  • Partner with Operations and Technology teams to shape service offerings and delivery models

  • Provide practical, experience-based insight into client operations and business drivers

New Business Enablement

  • Support Sales in late-stage deals, solution validation, and onboarding

  • Contribute to value proposition development and market positioning

  • Help define target segments and growth opportunities within the vertical

Strategic & Market Leadership

  • Contribute to and execute go-to-market strategy for the vertical

  • Identify market trends, competitive insights, and innovation opportunities

  • Translate client and market feedback into actionable business improvements

  • Represent the company in client forums and industry conversations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner across Sales, Delivery, and Recruitment to ensure alignment and execution

  • Navigate internal trade-offs and constraints while protecting client outcomes

  • Influence without authority in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)

  • Complete account mapping and strategic plans across key clients

  • Deliver measurable organic growth within the portfolio

  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor internally and externally

  • Improve client penetration, retention, and expansion pipeline

  • Effectively support new business solutioning and onboarding

What are we looking for?

Experience

  • 10+ years in BPO, outsourcing, or service-based environments

  • Strong background in account management / account growth leadership

  • Deep expertise in Auto / Auto Finance

  • Experience across both client-side and BPO/vendor environments strongly preferred

Capabilities

  • Proven ability to drive growth within existing accounts

  • Strong commercial acumen (understands margin, scalability, and trade-offs)

  • Ability to convert industry insight into revenue opportunities

  • Comfortable operating in cross-functional, high-accountability environments

  • Strategic thinker with a structured, data-informed approach

Profile Traits

  • Deep understanding of how client businesses operate end-to-end

  • Strong presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Balanced approach: strategic thinking + hands-on execution

  • Confident, commercially driven, and outcome-oriented

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA or equivalent preferred

Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary + performance bonus (20–30%)

  • Target base range: $140K–$180K USD (flexible based on experience)

  • Not a commission-heavy sales role

 Location & Travel

  • North America (remote/home-based)

  • Preference: Dallas Based

  • Travel: ~20%
