We are seeking a Vice President, Legal Innovation and Business Intelligence, reporting directly to the Legal Department CAO. In this role, you will lead a team of four and drive transformative change by delivering process efficiencies through both traditional and AI-enhanced workflows, coupled with actionable, data-driven insights. You will design and implement dashboards and reporting solutions that empower informed decision-making and operational excellence, with a specific focus on contract analytics and outside counsel spend management.---

The team you will be joining is part of the Legal Department’s Operations, Contracts and Innovation team. This role is critical to modernizing the Legal function and driving innovation that supports strategic objectives, particularly in optimizing contract lifecycle management and controlling external legal costs.
What you will be responsible for
As VP, Legal Innovation and Business Intelligence, you will:
Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation and business intelligence strategy for Legal.
Identify and lead initiatives to automate workflows and improve processes.
Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytics tools for actionable insights, including contract performance metrics and outside counsel spend analysis.
Manage a team of four professionals.
Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business priorities.

Proven experience in contract analytics and legal spend optimization.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, technology, or data analytics preferred.
7+ years of experience in legal operations, innovation, or business intelligence roles.
At least 5 years in leadership positions.
Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
