The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Vice President, FAST/AVOD Growth Strategy to join our Commercial Revenue, based in our New York, New York office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND OPTIMIZATION 

  • Set and oversee annual strategic, media, creative, and operational budgets, collaborating with Finance to establish clear growth targets and revenue projections.

  • Partner with Ad Sales leadership to evaluate and optimize revenue and viewership performance by platform, identifying opportunities, risks, and corrective act.

  • Partner with Research and BI teams to define performance metrics, build standardized reporting frameworks, and broadly communicate actionable performance insights.

  • Leverage understanding of FAST distribution deal cycles to inform resource planning and support partner and deal teams with strategic materials and performance narratives.

FAST PARTNER MANAGEMENT & 3rd PARTY MANAGEMENT

  • Own and lead strategic relationship with major FAST distribution partners serving as the primary strategic point of contact and growth lead.

  • Test and learn opportunities with partners including FAST to SVOD integrations and other emerging partner capabilities.  

  • Establish and lead Quarterly Business Reviews with key partners, aligning on performance results, marketing opportunities (in conjunction with Marketing lead) and track progress against growth targets.

  • Translate partner insights from QBRs and performance data into actionable strategies for key teams: Programming, Marketing, etc.

  • Mange the relationship for 3rd party programming clients: MSG, Overtime, NESN and BBCN)

  • Advise on programming/scheduling optimizations.

  • Run Quarterly Business Reviews to provide insight into performance, health tracking and align on growth opportunities.

CONTENT & PROGRAMMING STRATEGY 

  • Work with Programming, Acquisitions, and Scheduling to refine content mixes and refresh strategies that optimize engagement, retention, and ad yield. 

  • Direct “barker” channel strategy to funnel FAST viewers into SVOD. 

  • Leverage content performance data to inform future licensing and windowing decisions to maximize monetization opportunity. 

  • Synthesize partner opportunities, performance data, competitive insights and AMCN priorities to ideate and introduce new channel concepts to market.  

  • Audit, assess and refine current AVOD library currently live across partners. Work cross-functionally to formalize core AVOD library and stunting opportunities.    

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 12+ years of experience in media, streaming, or digital video with senior leadership responsibility. 

  • Deep expertise in Distribution within a media or studio environment 

  • Proven success driving revenue, distribution, and audience growth for ad-supported streaming products. 

  • Experience owning or influencing P&L performance and long-range business planning 

  • Strong knowledge of FAST platforms, OEM partners, and distribution ecosystems 

  • Expertise in AVOD monetization, including pricing, yield optimization, and inventory strategy. 

  • Highly analytical, with experience using performance data to inform programming, marketing, and distribution decisions. 

  • Proven ability to lead and align cross-functional teams (Content, Ad Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance). 

  • Experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.

  • Executive-level communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.

The base compensation range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000 commensurate with experience.
