Overview

As Vice President, Enterprise Value Quantification (MVQ Program Management & Governance), you will lead Mastercard’s enterprise-wide value quantification program – scaling and unifying our current Services Value Quantification (SVQ) into a holistic Mastercard Value Quantification (MVQ) capability across Core, Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF), and Services. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Value Enablement & Optimization, you will own the program’s strategy, governance, and execution. Your mission is to embed a value-first culture and ensure that quantifying customer value is at the heart of how Mastercard designs, sells, and delivers its solutions. You will establish a scalable, persona-based MVQ framework and platform to provide tailored value narratives and ROI insights. This role serves as a critical enterprise connector – collaborating across Product, Sales, Pricing, Customer Success, Finance, Technology, and regional teams – to drive broad adoption and tangible impact of MVQ globally. (This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Value Enablement & Optimization, within Mastercard’s Services organization.)

Key Responsibilities
• Enterprise MVQ Vision & Leadership: Define and champion the enterprise MVQ vision and roadmap. Lead the evolution of SVQ into one unified MVQ program that quantifies and communicates the value of Mastercard’s solutions across all lines of business.
• Program Management & Governance: Establish and chair an MVQ governance framework that aligns cross-functional priorities, standardizes methodologies, and eliminates duplicative value quantification efforts. Implement a disciplined operating model with clear priorities and accountability.
• Holistic Value Story & Scalable Platform: Develop Mastercard’s cohesive value story with persona-specific value propositions and ROI narratives for key audiences (e.g., account teams, product teams, pricing, executives). Oversee MVQ platform enhancements to deliver these insights at scale, enabling users to generate tailored, customer-ready value analyses.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams – including Product, Sales (Account Management Customer Solutions Center, Services Business Leads), Pricing, Customer Success, and others – to embed MVQ into product, pricing, sales, and customer engagement processes, driving a unified, value-focused approach across the customer lifecycle.
• Adoption & Enablement: Drive enterprise adoption of MVQ and practices. Develop training, communications, and support programs to integrate MVQ into the daily workflows of client-facing teams. Use feedback and metrics to continually improve the platform and value delivery.
• Platform & Data Stewardship: Guide the ongoing development of the MVQ platform, working with Technology and Analytics partners to integrate new data sources, product value models, and analytical capabilities. Ensure the platform is robust, intuitive, and compliant with Mastercard’s standards.
• People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing MVQ team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and clear direction to develop talent and expertise. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture that embraces a value-first mindset and grows the next generation of value experts.

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Extensive experience: 15+ years in strategy, program management, consulting, or related roles leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations (payments, financial services, or B2B technology sector preferred).
• Strategic & analytical acumen: Proven strength in strategic thinking, financial analysis, and data-driven problem solving. Adept at developing ROI models and translating analytics into actionable business insights.
• Value & commercial expertise: Familiarity with value-based selling, pricing strategy, and customer value management. Ability to articulate and quantify the business value of technology or service solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership & influence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and diverse stakeholders. Skilled at driving alignment in a matrixed environment through vision and collaboration.
• Change management: Demonstrated success in driving adoption of new tools, processes, or cultural initiatives at scale. Passion for evangelizing innovation, with a track record of leading organizational change and embedding new practices.
• People development: Strong people management capabilities. Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams, developing talent, and fostering an inclusive, high-energy culture.
Leadership Attributes
• Visionary & enterprise-minded: Strategic thinker who sees the big picture and can articulate a compelling, forward-looking vision for value quantification as a competitive differentiator.
• Collaborative influencer: Excels at leading through influence and building consensus. Cultivates trust and teamwork across functions, geographies, and levels to achieve shared goals.
• Results-focused & accountable: Driven to deliver tangible results. Sets high standards, measures progress and takes ownership to ensure execution and business impact.
• Innovative & adaptable: Embraces change with a continuous improvement mindset. Stays ahead of industry trends (e.g., data analytics, AI) to evolve capabilities and encourage creative solutions.
• Authentic & inclusive leader: Exemplifies Mastercard’s values and Decency Quotient (DQ). Creates a culture of integrity, inclusion, and empowerment. Inspires and develops others through mentorship and leading by example.

Success Measures
• Widespread Adoption: MVQ is widely utilized across Mastercard’s businesses, with strong engagement from product, sales, account management, and customer success teams globally.
• Measurable Impact: MVQ drives tangible commercial outcomes – influencing key deal wins, supporting value-based pricing and renewals, and helping demonstrate ROI to customers – resulting in improved client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
