Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HKEX Data Business and play a significant role in shaping data products and services, a growth business within the group. We are looking for a high caliber and motivated individual to join the Data Business product development team. The role will be responsible for the marketing and development of non-real-time data services and products and managing the associated HKEX data client relationships.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data client relationships and collaborate with Data Business teams to manage client experience associated with delivery of HKEX non-real-time data services and products.
- Client engagement to understand data needs and market new HKEX non-real-time data services and products
- Product and services ideation, articulate client asks, understand HKEX business and data assets, and collaborate with Data Business teams to translate into product and service proposals and solutions.
- Lead and collaborate with data specialists, technologists, data engineers on product and service development initiatives to execute and bring products to market.
- Prepare client presentation materials, develop and maintain client business reporting and statistical reports
- Undertake any other responsibilities and projects assigned
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in well-established finance or financial data organization - experience with financial market data and exchange trading markets preferred
- Financial data or finance industry sales and marketing, and/or client management experience.
- Excellent inter-personal, presentation and communication skills; demonstrated leadership and people management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player with ability to self-start, self-learn, be adaptable, work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience and skills in statistics, logic and computer programming, data management, data science and engineering, or data analytics and tools a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
