Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HKEX Data Business and play a significant role in shaping and growing the data business within the group. We are looking for a high-caliber and motivated individual to join the Data Business - data services development team. The role will be responsible for driving the business development of real-time market data services by enabling the new data subscription segments, responding to evolving market demand, and building sustainable growth for the data business.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enhancement of commercial, policy, and operating frameworks for real‑time market data and new data services, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, market practices, and HKEX’s data business strategy.
- Drive the enablement and commercialization of new real‑time market data services and emerging use cases by partnering with product, technology, legal, compliance, and sales teams to establish clear policies, pricing principles, onboarding models, and go‑to‑market approaches.
- Act as a key business enabler by providing clear policy interpretation, commercial guidance, and implementation support to internal stakeholders, facilitating scalable execution and effective client engagement.
- Develop and present business proposals with strong commercial rationale, including pricing structures, charging mechanisms, governance frameworks, and operating models, translating strategic objectives into sustainable revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and client demand in data services; engage regulators, market participants, and external partners to support policy development, service adoption, and market education.
- Support client-facing teams in strengthening client relationships and expanding the distribution ecosystem through well-defined product positioning, enablement materials, and structured engagement models.
- Contribute to broader data business strategy, transformation initiatives, and cross-functional projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in capital markets, market infrastructure, data business, or regulated financial services
- Strong understanding of commercial, regulatory, and governance considerations
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Strong sense of ownership with a hands‑on execution mindset
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across multiple stakeholders and functions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
