Our Aurora Platform also received CRN’s Products of the Year award in the inaugural Security Operations Platform category. Join a company that’s not only leading, but also shaping, the future of security operations.

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Vice President of Communications to be a part of making this happen.

About the Role

The Vice President of Communications will define and elevate Arctic Wolf’s global voice across media, social channels, and executive platforms. This leader will shape the company’s external narrative, enhance brand reputation, and amplify thought leadership across cybersecurity, technology, and business audiences.

Reporting to the SVP of Global Corporate Marketing, the VP of Communications will lead a high-performing team responsible for global public relations, executive communications, and corporate social media strategy. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller, strategist, and operator—comfortable toggling between strategy and execution while advising senior leadership on communications opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Arctic Wolf’s external communications strategy, driving awareness, credibility, and category leadership.

  • Lead global media relations, cultivating strong relationships with top-tier business, technology, and security journalists.

  • Oversee executive communications, shaping the voice, thought leadership, and visibility of the CEO and executive team through media, events, speeches, and social platforms.

  • Own corporate social media strategy and presence, driving engagement, reach, and brand consistency across channels.

  • Build and protect corporate reputation, including issues management and crisis response.

  • Partner with marketing, analyst relations, and brand teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across campaigns, corporate events, content, and announcements.

  • Develop compelling narratives around Arctic Wolf’s innovation, leadership, culture, and impact to differentiate the brand in a crowded cybersecurity market.

  • Manage a global team of external agencies and internal team members, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Use data and insights to measure communications impact and optimize messaging strategies.

Who You Are

  • You have a strategic mind and a hands-on approach.

  • Passion for building an authentic, trusted brand voice.

  • A deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and its cultural relevance.

  • The ability to influence and inspire through clear, compelling communication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in communications, with deep expertise in external and executive communications within technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity sectors.

  • Proven ability to lead integrated communications programs across PR, social media, and executive visibility.

  • Strong relationships with media covering enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and business innovation.

  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a knack for simplifying complex topics.

  • Experience advising executives on media, messaging, and thought leadership strategies.

  • Demonstrated success managing crises and protecting corporate reputation.

  • Collaborative leader who can work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.

On-Camera Policy

  • To support a fair, transparent, and engaging interview experience, candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during all video interviews.

  • Being on camera fosters authentic connection, improves communication, and allows for full engagement from both candidates and interviewers.

  • We understand that technical, bandwidth, or location-related challenges may occasionally prevent video use. If this applies, candidates are required to notify us in advance so we can explore appropriate accommodations.
