Job Summary

The Vice President, Carrier & MSP Sales will lead the Comcast Business (CB) organization responsible for Carrier/Wholesale — a channel that represents approximately 10% of total CB revenue and is strategically critical to growth. This executive will define and execute short- and long-term sales strategies, implement annual tactical plans, and drive accountability for funnel hygiene and deal rigor. They will oversee all sales activities, including managing large, sensitive accounts, while maintaining bi-directional carrier relationships where Comcast both sells to and buys from these partners. The role requires disciplined leadership to tighten deal rigor, identify new market opportunities, and deliver results through strategic execution and strong stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manages an annual operating budget for Product Sales.

  • Develops sales strategies and marketing plans; identifies tools and action steps to drive campaign success.

  • Oversees selection, training, and development of Product Sales personnel; ensures alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with major carrier accounts and executive stakeholders.

  • Drives funnel hygiene and rigor across all stages of the sales cycle.

  • Oversees advertising and promotional activities.

  • Develops cross-channel strategies with peers to ensure Company-wide sales objectives are met.

  • Interfaces with functional peers to identify barriers and create response tactics/strategies.

  • Develops sales incentives aligned with strategies and channel deployment.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Leadership Profile Needed:

  • Seasoned sales executive with proven rainmaker and builder track record.

  • Optimistic, “can-do”, and decisive leadership style.

  • Comfortable with very large targets and visible accountability.

  • Strong people leader with discipline around funnel management, strategic deals, and change leadership.

  • Experience beyond carrier-only — enterprise-scale, multi-channel selling.

  • Personal credibility with major carrier executives.

  • Player/coach mentality.

  • Proven strategic planning and execution skills.

  • Experience leading high-performing sales leaders and teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, and develop top talent.

  • Proficient in implementing operational cadences (daily, weekly, monthly).

  • Strong financial acumen.
