Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare fundflow projections, deposit monitoring reports, daily tracking reports, daily deposit rate sheets and other routine reports for marketing groups to monitor business performance and financial position.

Perform liquidity management function for WBG, including implementation of pricing framework and strategy of WBG

Streamline reporting process and automate manual Excel-based MIS reports into SAS platform in order to provide up-to-date information for management.

Maintain and implement the reports into Web platform for on-line enquiry and analysis

Analyze business trends and provide findings on underlying factors.

Design and tailor-made ad-hoc analysis, reports and information requested by management.

Implement and maintain data systems on pipeline movements, fundflow forecasts, and cater to ad hoc reports for senior management.

Implement and maintain financial tracking mechanism and ensure accounting compliance to regulatory authorities and auditors.

• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirements:

Degree holder in Business Administration / Finance / Statistics / Accounting or related disciplines

4-5 years of experience for AVP and 6-8 years for VP of Business Intelligence / Finance & Accounting experience.

Data mining and modeling experience is preferred.

Proficiency in Java, SAS, Excel, VBA programming and Python definite an advantage

Knowledge of Liquidity Management, regulatory requirements preferred.

Good analytical and communication skills.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
