Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated part-time Veterinary Assistant to support our doctors and technicians in delivering excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a team-oriented medical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist during exams and procedures

  • Safely restrain patients according to clinic protocols

  • Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and supplies

  • Clean and maintain medical equipment and clinical spaces

  • Provide basic patient care, including monitoring and comfort care

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Veterinary assistant or animal handling experience preferred

  • Willingness to learn and follow established protocols

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
