POSITION SUMMARY:

Indivior is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Accounts Leader to join our US Addiction Medicine team in support of our mission to improve the lives of Veterans suffering from Opioid Use Disorder. The VA Account Director will be responsible for strategically engaging Key Decision makers at the Federal, VISN Executive, and VAMC levels while also working closely with the PBM to garner support for educational and access initiatives.  We are seeking a candidate who has a strong track record in this segment and a passion for Veterans that matches.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop a fluid and comprehensive Customer Engagement Plan that delivers on Indivior’s LAI and Sublocade ambitions. 
  • Engage with VA Undersecretaries, PBM authorities, VISN Pharmacy Executives, and Key Decision Makers in Addiction Medicine to ensure broad access, seamless product uptake, and systemic change.  
  • Coordinate account engagement activities compliantly across the US, including driving excellent collaboration and communication across field pull through teams and Field Medical Advisors.  
  • Serve as central communication point for VA customers to ensure effective information flow as well as the steward of feedback to Indivior Leadership, Marketing, Medical, B2B, and Channel.  
  • Create opportunities and deliver the Sublocade clinical narrative while reinforcing Sublocade’s favorable access dynamics. 
  • Identify opportunities to deliver face-to-face customer engagements in the marketplace that connect stakeholders to the VA 1160.04 Directive.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals in account management, sales, market access or an equivalent combination of experience and education 
  • 5 + years of experience in account management for Government Accounts (VA/DOD), including deep knowledge of key VA/DOD accounts and existing relationships at top VISN/VA/DOD facilities 
  • Former Addiction Medicine experience preferred

  • Expertise in VA decision making authority and pharmaceutical pathways, with knowledge of both access and demand levers 
  • Excellent professional and strategic account management skills 
  • Understanding of clinical and economic trends driving decision making in current healthcare market 
  • Excellent executive level customer service and communication skills 
  • Strong account planner, ability to apply critical thinking to focus time to maximize impact 
  • Demonstrated understanding of the legal, regulatory, and compliance environment 
  • Strong understanding of and ability to analyze account level trends and budgetary impact 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to develop innovative approaches that disrupt current standards of care 
  • Travel Requirements: Field based with significant travel (~70%)- to include Conferences and Top Facility visits
