About Us

Hitachi rail is a global provider of rail solutions. In Sweden, we are delivering advanced railway signaling systems that meet the highest safety and performance standards.

We are now looking for a Verification and Test Engineer to join our team in Solna, Stockholm.

What You'll Do 

  • Develop, execute and maintain test plans and specifications 

  • Configure and operate lab test environment (simulators, hardware) 

  • Perform functional test in Lab and simulated environment 

  • Perform test in Site environment  

  • Record, analysis and report test results 

  • Collaborate across teams to clarify issues and support problem solving 

  • Your tasks will be performed Local( Labs;  desktops) and on Site  

  • Follow EN 50126728/29 standards 

Team & Work environment 

  • Small Local team - You'll be joining a compact on-site team in Solna, where your contribution is highly visible and you'll gain broad, hands-on experience 

  • International Collaboration - Much of our engineering support& development comes from Italy, so excellent communication skills and cultural awareness are essential 

  • Proactive mindset- We value engineers who work independently, identify solutions and drive activities forward 

What We're Looking For 

  • 2-5 years’ experience in testing 

  • Understanding of the V-cycle and requirements-based testing 

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field 

  • Experience with test tools, simulators and lab se-ups 

  • Experience with Site work environment is a plus 

  • Basic knowledge of railway signaling concepts 

  • Strong communication skills for multi-site cross-cultural collaboration

Languages

  • Swedish and English – Full professional proficiency
