As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Vendor Master Data Specialist to join our team in Mexico, who will be responsible for maintaining high‑quality vendor master data and supporting all related compliance and data governance activities.

Your new role

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of vendor master data across our systems. You will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and enabling reliable financial and procurement processes through robust data management practices.

What you’ll be doing in your new role:

  • Complete vendor master data requests in a timely and accurate manner, performing integrity checks to ensure high‑quality records.

  • Validate that all requests include the required supporting documentation and comply with corporate policies before implementation in SAP.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business inquiries related to vendor master data.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, efficiency, standardization, and rationalization across vendor records.

  • Analyze and enhance data quality by running scheduled audit reports (e.g., duplicate elimination, standard text formatting, vendor retirement).

  • Review existing vendor data for completeness, accuracy, and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Set up and maintain vendor records, ensuring all related documents are properly attached and archived.

  • Support internal and external compliance requirements through consistent data governance practices.

  • Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
     

The Individual:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of demonstrated work experience in Vendor or Master Data.

  • An advanced level of English is mandatory;

  • SAP experience is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
