Vehicle Service Agent / Car Detailer

About the Role:

As a Vehicle Service Agent / Car Detailer, you play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, well-maintained, and ready for customer use. You’ll be responsible for detailing the interior and exterior of vehicles to meet company standards, making sure every vehicle looks and feels its best before it goes out on the road.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and takes operational direction from the Fleet Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles according to company standards
• Refuel vehicles and accurately record fuel charges for reconciliation
• Assist customers with baby seat installations and the removal of excess seating
• Maintain and clean baby seats in accordance with hygiene standards
• Capture vehicle damage using Photoproof
• Log vehicles in and out of the service area, following established inventory procedures
• Ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, clean, mechanically roadworthy prior to rental
• Inspect returned vehicles for damage and report findings as required
• Follow incident and accident reporting procedures
• Meet or exceed cleanliness and Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a culture of service excellence and achieve organisational goals
• Accurately complete daily operational duties and reporting
• Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental policies, including emergency procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
• Monitor and assist with maintenance of company equipment
• Assist with Delivery as required
• Properly dispose of waste when necessary

What we are looking for:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under various weather conditions
• Effective verbal communication skills
• A full driver’s license
