Vehicle Recovery Lead

 In this hybrid role, you will report to a the Head of Ride Hail Operations 

 

You will:

  • Vehicle Recovery Program Leadership: Owns the development and governance of the vehicle recovery program, ensuring standardized processes, operational frameworks, and performance expectations are established across markets.    

  • Recovery Standards & Process Development: Defines recovery standards, operational procedures, and quality requirements to ensure vehicle recovery activities are executed safely, consistently, and efficiently.    

  • Domestic Recovery Operations: Oversees the development and performance of recovery capabilities within domestic markets, ensuring recovery networks, response times, and operational processes support fleet reliability.    

  • International Recovery Capability: Leads the design and implementation of recovery strategies for international markets, ensuring recovery standards and operational models can scale effectively across diverse regulatory and operational environments.    

  • Towing Network & Pay-Per-Dispatch Capability: Develops and manages scalable recovery models including towing partnerships and pay-per-dispatch recovery services, ensuring cost-efficient and reliable response capabilities as markets expand.    

  • Recovery Quality & Performance Oversight: Establishes recovery performance metrics and quality frameworks to ensure recovery operations maintain high safety standards while minimizing service disruption and fleet downtime.    

  • Cross-Functional Operational Alignment: Partners with Market Operations, Safety, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to ensure recovery strategies align with fleet growth, operational risk management, and long-term scalability.    

 

You have:

  • 10 years experience in the technology, fleet operations, or operations  "    

  • Ability to design scalable operational frameworks and standardized processes    

  • Skill in building and enabling third party partnerships    

  • Proven track record of defining safety standards and quality requirements    

  • Experience using performance metrics and data to drive program improvements    

  • Strong background in cross functional leadership with engineering and safety teams    

 

We prefer:

  • Experience end-to- end vehicle recovery programs for large scale fleets    

  • Expertise managing domestic and international recovery and towing networks    

  • Ability to minimize fleet downtime and operational disruptions    

  • Experience scaling operations across diverse geographic and regulatory markets    

  • History of managing specialized program leaders and high stakes field operations    

 

Travel

This role will require 25% travel. 

 

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
