Based on the Melbourne CBD campus, however, you will be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University and apprentice or trainee locations

About You
You are an experienced educator and industry professional with a strong background in Project Management, Marketing, and Communications. You bring contemporary industry knowledge and practical experience that enables you to deliver engaging, applied learning aligned with current professional practices.
You hold relevant discipline qualifications and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), with demonstrated capability to design and deliver high-quality vocational education and training. You maintain industry currency, ensuring that your teaching reflects evolving trends, tools, and practices within program management and the marketing and communications sectors.
Ideally, you hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Project Management, although higher-level qualifications in a related discipline will also be considered. You are committed to student success and bring a collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues and industry partners to create meaningful learning experiences.
With strong communication and organisational skills, you can facilitate inclusive, engaging learning environments while supporting students to develop the practical capabilities required for successful careers in industry.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have / you’ll have as a minimum:
Effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments. This includes effective presentation and facilitation skills, and in the use of flexible teaching methods.
Demonstrated skills and experience in competency-based assessment.
Ability in ensuring current and contemporary vocational competence which meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.
Experience in relevant industry, and substantial discipline knowledge as it relates to this position.
Capacity to diagnose learning problems in students, propose and implement effective solutions.
Ability to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive member of a team.
Demonstrated skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies.
Qualifications
Certificate IV TAE (must)
Preferably to have Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in Project Management but higher-level discipline qualification a consideration.
