About the Role
As a Quality and Evaluation Officer, you will provide essential support across all domains of educational quality, including Programs & Pathways, Teaching Quality and Student Experience, and Curriculum Quality. Working as part of a shared pool of staff, you will support the Manager and Leads in delivering quality assurance processes, data collection and analysis, and the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes across all domains (Programs and Pathways; Teaching Quality and Student Experience; Curriculum Quality), ensuring alignment with the University's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities related to educational quality, providing accurate and timely information to inform decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with academic and professional staff to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of strategies to enhance educational quality.
Contribute to the development and delivery of support materials and workshops for academic and professional staff on quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
Undertake regular reviews, audits, and assessments of educational quality processes to support the identification of good practices and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain governance documentation, including reports, guidelines, and processes related to quality assurance and evaluation.
About Us
This position sits within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Education and contributes to continuous improvement of education delivery at Macquarie University. Alongside the Macquarie University Academy, Macquarie University College, Graduate Futures, Access and Widening Participation teams, the Curriculum, Quality Solutions and Support team is focussed on providing experiences for students, staff and prospective students that are at the highest standards of excellence and supporting the University’s mission to deliver benefit, service and engagement.

Selection Criteria:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
Experience in supporting quality assurance processes within a higher education context.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
