Job Summary
• This role is responsible for driving revenue for the organization by utilizing in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions to clients and identify new opportunities. The role builds and maintains long-lasting professional relationships with the clients and acts as a trusted advisor. The role stays updated with the latest advancements and gathers client feedback for product improvement while guiding junior team members.
Responsibilities
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization's products or services, as well as the industry to effectively position the offerings and articulate their value to potential clients.
• Utilizes expertise to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones, thus boosting the sales pipeline and driving pursuit.
• Engages with clients to understand their needs, analyze their challenges, and provide tailored solutions aligning with client’s business and IT goals.
• Regularly communicates, follows up, and addresses client concerns to build and maintain strong and long-term client relationships.
• Collaborates with sales leadership to develop and refine sales strategies, tactics, and goals for the assigned area.
• Participates in developing quota objectives and future strategies for the designated area of expertise.
• Stays up to date with industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
• Assists in the training of new sales team members, sharing expertise and best practices to help them develop their sales skills.
• Utilizes sales technology tools and software, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, to manage leads, track interactions, and streamline sales processes.
• Generates regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and results to share with management and provide insights into sales performance.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.
