The Senior Sales Operations Account Manager at Astera Labs is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations between the company and its customers. This role involves building and maintaining robust relationships at both operational and managerial levels within Astera Labs and its customer organizations. The manager leverages these relationships to manage expectations, enhance operations, and resolve issues related to orders, supply, delivery, and forecasts. They are responsible for reviewing customer backlogs, managing the product lifecycle, overseeing billings, and ensuring accurate demand and supply analysis. Additionally, they drive key projects, provide strategic advice, and engage in regular customer reviews to support organizational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Sales Operations Account Manager at Astera Labs plays a crucial role in ensuring operational and financial success by managing product demand planning and fulfillment processes for assigned accounts.
  • This position serves as the primary contact between Astera Labs customers and internal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring timely order fulfillment to meet revenue targets and customer delivery requirements.
  • Act as the focal point in communication and execution of sales order fulfillment to meet Astera Lab’s revenue targets
  • Analyze customer forecast demand, backlog, and sync up with Sales team to develop and manage weekly and quarterly demand/supply plans
  • Evaluate risk and implement contingency plans related to supply coverage and inventory in-stock targets
  • Review customer backlogs constantly and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues. Identify problem areas and drive customer engagement and internal functional groups as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Product Line Management teams support NPI process including samples, quotation and business enablement to expand Astera Lab’s business.
  • Compliance to existing documentation process for SOX compliance.
  • Participate in SOX, ISO audit and actively engage in new ERP system transition.
  • Ensure efficient service through operational excellence and customer collaboration. Engage with customers through regular business reviews and meetings. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong supply chain knowledge, demand forecasting and supply demand analysis.
  • Prior experience with semi-conductor industry experience and in a customer interfacing role preferred.
  • Understanding of business strategy and process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions.
  • Strong oral and presentation skills, capable of discussing operational concepts with customers, management, and team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, CRM tool and Oracle ERP System.
  • Ability to manage internal and external conflicts.
  • Experience in developing and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty.
  • Experience with data center customers preferred
