Job Summary

Primary focus of this adminstrator postion is to support of Distribution Construction and Vegetation Management Operations utlitizing CAMPS and ITIS programs. Work in a semi-directed manner to assist in the coordination of distribution construction and vegetation management reporting activities relating to public utility regulatory commissions, NERC, FERC, and company program documentation. Interface with procurement, operating companies, and transmission on issues concerning each department. Maintain close liaison betweenour central organization and Operating Company as well as the Distribution Construction and Vegetation Management personnel in the field.

Utility Forestry Coordinator

What You'll Do:

  • Primary focus of this administrator position is the support of Distribution Construction and Vegetation Management Operations utilizing CAMPS and ITIS programs.

  • Assist in the collection of safety information related to contractor incidents.

  • Assist in managing contractor oversight programs, including work quality, productivity and safety.

  • Coordinate the development and recommendations for approval for policies, practices and procedures pertaining to vegetation management and distribution construction activities.

  • Coordinate the development and application of new technologies to enhance vegetation management and distribution construction programs.

  • Assist data requests from internal and external auditing agencies.

  • Provide assistance with vegetation management and distribution construction review and support responding to Commission, NERC, FERC requests for information.

  • Be available to support emergency storm restoration activities

What We're Looking For:

Education requirements are listed below:

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in forestry, arboriculture, engineering, business or finance.

Work Experience requirement listed below:

1 years experience in business objects.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Physical demand level is Sedentary

  • Working knowledge of databases, SharePoint, and Excel Spreadsheets.

  • Preferred Business, Finance, Forestry, Arboriculture, or engineering experience.
