The opportunity

This role plays a key part in translating customer insights, research and data into well‑designed digital experiences that lift customer task completion and improve key customer experience metrics, including NPS.

Your new role 

In this role, you will:

  • Design and deliver customer‑centred digital interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, accessible and aligned to best practice
  • Support the delivery of the digital experience framework, working closely with the Senior UX Designer and broader design community across AUSPAC and Global teams
  • Contribute to customer research activities, including qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing and validation, to inform design decisions
  • Translate customer insights into optimised digital journeys, improving end‑to‑end task completion and customer experience outcomes
  • Deliver high‑quality digital assets in line with established design standards, processes and style guides
  • Support testing, optimisation and QA activities to ensure digital assets perform as intended across channels

About you 

You’ll bring a strong foundation in UI and UX design, combined with a customer‑led mindset and a passion for creating high‑quality digital experiences.

  • Proven experience delivering UI and interaction design within an agile or scrum‑based digital delivery environment
  • Strong user‑centred design thinking, with the ability to apply research, testing and data to inform design decisions
  • High proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Creative Cloud, Sketch and related wireframing tools
  • Working knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting user testing, validation and design optimisation, working closely with designers, developers and product teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in UI Design, Web Design, Interactive Design or similar, supported by a strong online portfolio showcasing customer‑focused outcomes
