Teledyne Marine -Vehicles is a member of a group of leading-edge undersea technology companies that have been assembled under the Teledyne Marine umbrella. Teledyne Marine Vehicles is seeking a North Falmouth, MA based Customer Service Representative to join our unified Customer Service group. Looking for candidates that can work in a fast-paced environment and handle all internal and external communications with the highest level of professionalism. Duties include customer communication to coordinate order details, working in our ERP and CRM systems to quote, process, and document order details. The position requires someone with a high level of detail, ability to work with teams across the organization, and deliver accurate and timely information to our customer base. 

Position may include some domestic and international travel to other service offices. Must be able to travel if needed and be able to obtain a US passport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external customers
    • Answer order and quoting inquiries from customers via website, email, and phone
    • Handle payment and delivery instructions for ongoing orders to keep repairs and orders shipping as planned each month
    • Assist the Service Administrator with receiving repairs and processing repair paperwork and customer instructions
    • Accurately enter and process quotes, orders, and service information
    • Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a “US Person” (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).

Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in a customer support environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with ERP system and Salesforce or other CRM system experience preferred
  • Continuous improvement knowledge

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment
  • Ability to interact by phone/email with a global customer base
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude to understand a diverse portfolio of ocean technology products and parts
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member is a must

Preferred:

  • Previous experience using Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Experience working closely with customers in sales, customer service, or technical capacity
  • Ability to work as part of an extended team

Salary Range:

$61,600.00-$82,100.000
