UKG Pro Systems Consultant

About the Role:
 

Based in St Kilda, Melbourne, Team Global Express is seeking a highly skilled UKG Senior System Consultant to join our People team on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, optimising, and integrating our time and attendance systems as part of the Workday uplift and APAY implementation. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams to design scalable, secure, and compliant workforce management solutions. This is a strategic role where you will provide technical leadership, manage complex system integrations, and ensure the system meets business requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, customise, and optimise the UKG time and attendance system to meet organisational needs.

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with HRIS, payroll, scheduling, and other enterprise systems.

  • Ensure accurate data flow, system compliance, and security of sensitive employee information.

  • Lead system upgrades, testing, and go-lives, including major releases and enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation for HR, payroll, and management teams.

  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to technical teams and key stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement system enhancements to support evolving business needs.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure system solutions are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with strategic objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years’ experience building, implementing, and operating time and attendance software (Kronos/UKG).

  • 5+ years’ experience with system integrations (Workday, APay, Preceda preferred).

  • Strong understanding of pay rules, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven experience leading system go-lives, upgrades, and major releases.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical system solutions.

  • Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and analytics for operational insight.
