Your New Role...              

 

Warner Bros. Discovery is a premiere global media and entertainment company and we are looking for a superstar Marketing Intern to join our team for 12 months. You will be a key member of the UK Marketing & Partnerships team reporting to the Marketing Manager.  

 

You will support the Campaign Marketing team working on some of the biggest brands across  Warner Bros. Discovery’s portfolio of content across lifestyle & entertainment, factual & sport, for brand new programmes including Beauty & The Geek, 90 Day Fiancé, Richard Hammonds Workshop, as well as sports rights ranging from the UEFA Champions League football to Australian Open tennis, this includes acquisitions and commissions.   

 

You will also support the B2B2C Marketing team helping supply assets for our most important commercial partners and the Trade Marketing function who support our ad sales relationship (and do lots of fun events), your work will contribute to the overarching marketing team in all its endeavors to achieve the wider company targets.  

 

 

Your Role Accountabilities…

 

  • Supporting partners (Freeview, Freesat, Sky, Virgin, BT) with supply and approvals of our assets to encourage content promotion on their platforms. 
  • Keep the marketing calendar up to date. 
  • Supporting partners (Sky, Virgin, BT, Playstation, Microsoft) with supply and approvals of assets to promote our core sports rights and events throughout the season. 
  • Assisting the marketing team with campaign performance evaluation and monitoring of competitor activity. 
  • Collate assets for partner editorial and marketing campaigns, help to keep the master content deck updated with key titles, synopsis, and any changes to dates, update Partner Post Campaign Analysis decks with performance and creative. 
  • Assist the team to keep the BT external tracker and Sky Top Picks tracker up to date and support with Sky VIP competitions. 
  • Support team on creating presentations for partners and internal ad sales team on new content and marketing. 
  • Help out on key events with guest lists, attendee management and on the ground help (reception welcome desk etc) 
  • Help manage B2B LinkedIn feeds 
  • Work to build your knowledge as a brand guardian for all our channels brands. 
  • Source key art, clips and promos. 
  • Create and update high quality presentations and excel spreadsheets, supporting events when required. 
  • Presenting content to partners alongside the team, from time to time. 

Qualifications & Experience...

 

  • You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.  
  • passion for TV/Streaming, marketing and all things media is highly desirable 
  • Happy to work across all our content genres, Reality, Paranormal, Crime, Sport 
  • Able to multitask managing a number of projects simultaneously, organisation is key to this role 
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment working with multiple internal and external contacts, within the UK and global teams 
  • Good creative appraisal and attention to detail  
  • Able to build, develop and maintain relationships to optimise campaign and partner efficiency across the organisation  
  • Google mail and google shared drives knowledge a bonus 

The Internship… 

  • Salary: £27,000 p/a  
  • Contract Length: 12 months   
  • Start Date: 6th July 2026 
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.  
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.  
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February. 
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February. 
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.

Although you will be hired by Warner Bros. Discovery, upon the planned separation in 2026, your employment likely will transition to Discovery Global. Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
