Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, secure, and responsive user experiences for our internal AI Activity Store—a centralized platform for AI-powered tools such as document translation, chatbot interaction, LLM APIs, and more. The platform operates within a secure, VPN-only Azure environment and includes role-based access control and real-time data updates. The designer will work closely with engineering teams to create interfaces that are user-centric, accessible, and compliant with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design, including wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI designs.
- Create responsive, accessible interfaces optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
- Design user flows for:
- Role-based access (e.g., admin, manager, standard user)
- SSO authentication flows and multi-step approval workflows
- Real-time interactions (e.g., live user request feeds, WebSocket/AJAX-powered updates)
- Define, evolve, and maintain a reusable design system compatible with Tailwind CSS.
- Ensure all UI designs meet high security and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance, VPN-only architecture).
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI elements and design fidelity.
- Conduct usability testing, collect user feedback, and iterate design improvements using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Use Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar to analyze heatmaps, session recordings, rage clicks, and user funnels to identify friction points and inform design iterations.
- Use latest UI/UX designs, icons, themes, and web features to make the platform visually appealing, intuitive, and functionally effective.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web-based SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Proficiency in modern design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent.
- Experience designing front-end stacks using React and Tailwind CSS.
- Strong understanding of role-based access control and secure design patterns.
- Demonstrated expertise in accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design.
- Familiarity with real-time data visualizations and user interaction patterns (e.g., activity dashboards).
- Hands-on experience with behavioral analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar for session analysis, heatmaps, and user feedback collection.
- Solid understanding of core UX psychology principles, including:
- Hick's Law — reducing decision complexity by limiting choices at each step
- Fitts's Law — sizing and positioning interactive elements for ease of use
- Miller's Law — chunking information to reduce cognitive load
- Jakob's Law — leveraging familiar patterns so users apply existing mental models
- Gestalt Principles — using proximity, similarity, and visual hierarchy for intuitive layouts
- Zeigarnik Effect — using progress indicators to drive task completion
- Use latest UI/UX designs, icons, themes, and web features to make the website tool visually appealing, intuitive, and design functional digital interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of frontend development (React components, JSX, HTML/CSS).
- Experience working in secure enterprise environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or private cloud deployments).
- Exposure to AI/ML product UX patterns (e.g., chatbot flows, model feedback loops, prompt UIs).
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and translating behavioral data into measurable design improvements.
