As a UI Product Development Intern, you will build polished, user-facing AI features (chat, assistants, and AI-enabled workflows). You will focus on great UX, reliability, and tight integration with AI backends.
What You Will Do
- Build AI application experiences end-to-end using TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (e.g., React/Next.js).
- Integrate AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and agent workflows with UI patterns that support tool-use and multi-step tasks.
- Implement streaming-first UX (token/step streaming), robust loading states, and graceful failure recovery.
- Add product instrumentation (latency, errors, drop-offs) and connect user feedback to evaluation workflows.
- Collaborate with design and backend teams; ship production-quality UI with tests and accessibility.
- Assist in special projects.
- Support business initiatives as assigned by manager.
- Job shadowing.

- Attend meetings with various teams.
Job Skills/Qualifications :
- Strong TypeScript and web fundamentals; experience with a modern UI framework.
- Comfort integrating APIs and working with streaming responses (SSE/WebSockets).
- Proficiency using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
- Good product judgment: you care about edge cases, clarity, and user trust.
- Organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Writing and editing skills.
- Collaboration in a team environment.
- Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro.
