In this entry-level position, you will gain direct experience performing essential maintenance and troubleshooting on innovative wind turbines and Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.
Working alongside experienced Level III and Lead Technicians, you will build your technical skills, contribute to safe and efficient operations, and help maximize turbine performance and energy production. What You Will Do:
Ensure work is completed in accordance with safe work practices, including electrical safety, at heights, control of hazardous energy, confined space, and cargo management.
Support the completion of scheduled / standard work such as regular maintenance.
Support troubleshooting of turbines (basic) and support completion of asset integrity inspections and unscheduled (minor and major) work.
Support the electrical switching of turbines and assist with High Voltage electrical switching.
Assist with substation inspections and maintenance activities (annual maintenance, outages, etc.)
Perform data entry in the Maintenance Management System (Maximo).
Who You Are:
You possess a High School Diploma and minimal to 1 year of relevant work experience related to wind turbines.
Ability to demonstrate basic industrial safety practices / protocols including LOTO.
Ability to effectively participate in all training courses, such as first aid, CPR and AED, climb and rescue training, and confined space training.
Good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, proven problem solving and time management skills.
Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a Passport.
Ability to undergo and pass various background screenings that include a 5-year driving record, criminal check, education & employment verification, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
Working Conditions:
Flexible working hours may be required to support the facility and be available to support Emergency Response needs of the facility.
Although the incumbent will be assigned to Greenwich in particular, the technician may be called to travel to other Enbridge facilities as needed.
Role will require being on-call (24/7) to respond to emergencies and/or maintenance needs of the site (on a pre-determined, scheduled basis).
Fleet vehicle transfer to and from Greenwich on a pre-determined basis.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
Salary:
Ranges from $56,700 – $62,700 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
