JOB SUMMARY:
- In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing tube laser cutting systems used in the production of precision components.
- This role requires a deep understanding of tube laser technology, CNC programming, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operate and maintain advanced tube laser cutting systems to produce custom, high-precision components.
- Program, set up, and troubleshoot tube laser cutting machines, ensuring that specifications are followed accurately.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to verify part design and ensure proper cutting parameters.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure optimal cutting quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts for adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on tube laser equipment to reduce downtime and extend machine lifespan.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless production processes.
- Adjust cutting parameters as necessary based on materials, geometry, and specific project requirements.
- Document machine settings, work completed, and any issues encountered during the production process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes.
- Work closely with design and development engineers to develop new parts and prototypes.
- Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience:
- 1+ year press brake programming experience. Cincinnati Press Brake Software experience is a plus.
- 3+ years press brake operation experience. Cincinnati Press Brake experience is a plus.
- 2D CAD experience is required.
- PLM Software (Teamcenter) experience preferred.
- Prior Fabrication knowledge/experience preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Basic Computer skills. Microsoft Teams and Excel experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. This role is will typically work Monday-Friday, 3:30pm - 12:30am
- Ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively with other department and organization team members.
This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
